Italy: Picture Book

👋🏻 Hi! My name is Sergio Néster. A little over four years ago, I packed a couple of big suitcases and moved to Italy. Not for a vacation — I came looking for a place to call home 🏠

Not a home with a tiled roof, a garden, and a lawn — I mean home in a broader sense. A place to stay. For good.

Today, I live in a small city in the heart of Italy called Perugia 💚. And believe me — you won’t find views like this even in Milan or Florence.

At some point, Italy became more than just my home — it became my inspiration.

☕️ I’ve sipped fragrant Roman espresso while watching the city wake up.

🙋🏻‍♂️ I’ve met fascinating people.

🍕 I’ve had mind-blowing Neapolitan pizza.

🌊 I’ve swum in warm Ligurian water so turquoise it didn’t look real.

🥐 I’ve had flaky cornetti that shattered at the touch and views that literally made me dizzy.

That’s what led me to start writing books about this country — to share not only my love for it, but also the kind of local insights only someone who truly lives here can offer.

My main goal? To help you fall in love with Italy too — so that your first trip turns into a second, a third… maybe even a fifth.
