My readerverified score is 93 %. This book offers a practical and modern approach to personal growth. Instead of overwhelming the reader with big goals, it focuses on small, manageable habits that can truly make a difference in everyday life. I really appreciated the blend of science and simplicity - the concepts are grounded in neuroscience but explained in an easy, relatable way. The idea of using “micro-resets” to handle stress and improve focus feels realistic and easy to apply, even on busy days.

Some ideas may feel familiar if you’ve read similar books, but the approach is clear and actionable. Overall, it’s an encouraging and useful guide for anyone looking to build better habits without burnout.

My ReaderVerified review score is 85%. I found this manual to be very insightful, well-researched, and articulate. It thoroughly explains micro-setting techniques to manage anxiety, loops of negative thinking, and addictive emotional habits. The techniques are presented one by one and step by step, allowing individuals to choose what resonates with them and gradually incorporate new techniques as they become comfortable with their practice. However, I would have appreciated more stories illustrating how different people have successfully applied these techniques.

5.0 out of 5 stars: Give Your Brain a Break
Reviewed in the United States

My ReaderVerified Score is 96%. Micro Reset: How Tiny Interruptions Transform Your Life by Garmina Bais could not have come along at a better time for me. I am currently launching a new website, and I have been "burning the candle at both ends," as they say. Recently, I hit a wall, my brain was in a fog, and focus and energy were low. I thought I was "the old dog who couldn't learn new tricks."

But after reading 'Micro Reset', I realized that I was pushing my brain too hard for too long. My brain needed a break or a micro reset. The best comparison is trying to run uphill all the time, it's impossible. This book quickly showed me easy steps to take every day to avoid mental burnout. But it's not a one-size-fits-all approach. It discusses how brains actually work instead of how we wish they worked. Highly Recommend!
