5.0 out of 5 stars: What is your Artistic DNA?
Reviewed in the United States

My ReaderVerified score is 93%. The Creative Being is a charming book by Dan Harper. In it, Dan discusses the 'need' to be creative, which is something I can relate to. As a fellow artist and author, reading his book felt like a walk down memory lane with art school buddies discussing the creative process.

Dan discusses how to identify your creative DNA. He has exercises throughout the book which can help a new or seasoned artist learn, review, or recapture their own style. We all get frustrated and sometimes have 'writer's block', this book's exercises and daily routine suggestions are perfect for working through a creative jam.

I especially enjoyed and will revisit the section on 'Nurturing Your Growth-Oriented Mindset.' As a seasoned artist, it's essential to me to constantly challenge and reevaluate my 'Growth Mindset' as it naturally develops over time.

If you are someone who enjoys learning about and embracing the creative mindset, this book is a must. It's the kind of book you will pick up over and over for inspiration and creative direction.

Hi Dan, I highly recommend that you republish your eBook in an EPUB format. You can find someone who can do this for you on Upwork or Fiverr. It's not that expensive and will make reading your eBooks so much easier. The format that they are in now is hard to read on a laptop. You can't enlarge the type like you can with an EPUB format on Kindle.

Regards,
John
