She dragged him from the brink of death and brought him into Oasis-12, a hidden bunker she shares with C-77, a towering maintenance bot that somehow bypassed its own programming to become a gentle, protective father figure. For a fleeting moment, inside those concrete walls, Rell finds a warmth and belonging he has never known.

But Michaela carries a heavy burden. She is a living, breathing glitch in the machine network's perfect logic, a genetically altered variable designed to bring chaos to the Architect's clinical rule.

When the drones inevitably find them, Michaela sacrifices everything to save Rell, unleashing a terrifying power that neutralizes the threat but leaves her unconscious and C-77's systems failing.

Now, with their sanctuary crumbling and their mechanical guardian fading away, it’s up to Rell to be the protector. To save the girl who saved him, he must journey into the brutal unknown, guided only by a dying machine's promise of a place called The Farm, a thriving sanctuary where humanity still lives, laughs, and fights back.
