Written in A Vampire's Blood: The Stranger is a story about possibilities, from overcoming betrayal to finding strength to love again. Adeline, an unsuspecting fledgling, has to come to terms with the fact that she is now a vampire. Discovering her newfound abilities, all at the same time, she tries her best to be a detective for the NYPD and stop any further killings. This first installment in the series explains how someone, against all odds, accepts the process of transitioning from one point in life to the next, while coming to terms with that change, even after a sudden death. Although this story is fictional, you will be intrigued by the build of a unique vampire tale, with a dash of the supernatural and a hint of reality. This story offers a recipe for entertaining the mind, while feeding your curiosity for thrills, chills, blood, and gore. This twisted tale is bound to secrecy and revelations. You must submit to your own path, allow yourself to set forth on a journey of your own destiny.

My ReaderVerified review is 88%. Written in Vampire's Blood by Matthew and James Dale is a thrilling, fast-paced murder mystery set in New York City. It's not that far into the book that you realize the serial killer is a vampire, and the lead detective, Lt. Drakon, is wise to their ways. And Joy, a small-town wannabe journalist, bites off more than she can chew in the Big Apple!

I loved the fluid storytelling and all the scary twists and turns throughout the book, but this novel suffered a bit from grammatical errors. I would have given it a much higher score, but the typos and sentence structure were sometimes distracting. I suggest the authors find a good line editor and resubmit their novel after all the corrections have been made.

You can really feel the enthusiasm the authors have for the genre and the joy they experienced writing their story. I highly recommend this book to all Vampire enthusiasts and lovers of crime dramas. It's a heart stopper!

Hey James, this is where we can discuss your book. I really think your book could be vastly improved if you hired a line editor on Fiverr or Upwork. I used a lady from Eurore who was not that expensive, and she helped me with grammar and plot development. It's nice to have a second set of eyes look over your work. Sometimes you don't realize you said the same thing several times or that you left out a key fact. But, overall, I think you are a very talented and engaging storyteller. Congrats, John
