Amazon-Verified Book Reviews, Do's and Dont's!
Get reviewed. Get ranked. Get read.
Hey there, fellow author — welcome to ReaderVerified, the review platform we wish existed when we published our first books.
If you’ve ever felt frustrated chasing Amazon reviews…
If you’ve sent awkward DMs asking for “just a quick review if you have time…”
If you’ve ever thought, “There’s got to be a better way to get my book seen without begging, paying, or gaming the system…”
You’re in the right place.
ReaderVerified is a smarter, cleaner, author-first platform where real writers read each other’s books and leave Amazon-compliant, verified reviews — no swaps, no shady bots, no fake fluff.
Here’s how it works:
- You join the community.
- You choose an eBook from our library to read (all priced fairly at $2.99).
- You read and submit a verified review on Amazon, you earn a credit toward a verified review on your book.
- Do Not review a book by an author who reviewed your book! This is a No-No!
- Do Not submit multiple reviews every week for consecutive months.
- Make sure you review other purchases on Amazon, not just book reviews all the time.
- Along the way, you can give and receive honest, constructive feedback — not just five stars and empty praise.
- No fake promises. No pressure. Just a system built for authors who care about getting better and getting their books into more hands — ethically.
Amazon Review Policy Compliance
-
No free books
-
No payment for reviews
-
No positive review requirement
-
Reviewers must purchase the book
-
Reviews are optional
-
Reviews may be negative
-
We prefer that a negative review is sent to us and we will forward it to the author. We feel that there is no need to embarrass a new author on a global platform like Amazon. This gives the author a chance to fix typos or the book cover, etc. And then they can re-publish it on Amazon KDP, before too many copies have been sold, hopefully.
ReaderVerified isn’t a review machine.
It’s a place to learn how to market smarter, avoid scams, connect with other writers, and grow your author brand without burning out. Our Insights page is loaded with real talk, practical tips, and the kind of advice most people charge hundreds for. We don’t do gatekeeping. We do community building.
So whether you’re writing your first novel or your fifteenth nonfiction book, we’re here to help you get read, get ranked, and get reviewed.
We’re just getting started — and we’re glad you’re here. Write hard. Sell smart. Review ethically.
